The final Preschool Book and Playtime of 2012 will feature & quot;Santa Claus Fun."  Preschoolers are invited to share in s ongs, games, books, and fingerplays all about our favorite elf in the re d suit.  Storytime meets at 11:00 a.m.

November's book is The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.  When Pausch, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon, was asked to give such a lecture, he didn't have to imagine it as his last, since he had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. But the lecture he gave--"Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams"--wasn't about dying. It was about the importance of overcoming obstacles, of enabling the dreams of others, of seizing every moment (because "time is all you have...and you may find one day that you have less than you think").

October's book is The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty.  Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret—something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive. . .

The Jackson Book Club meets the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.  All are welcome, even if you haven't read the book.

Toddler Story time has it's last program until July at 11:00 a.m. Registration is require for toddlers between the ages of 18 months and 36 months. Please call the library at 740-286-4111.

Teen Advisory Board meets to help fill Easter Eggs and dye eggs for the upcoming Easter Season. All interested teens please meet in the Potter Room from 3:30 until 5:00 for fun and refreshments after a short business meeting.
