Jackson City Library will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

• President's Day, 3rd Monday in February
• Memorial Day, last Monday in May
• Independence Day, July 4th
• Labor Day, 1st Monday in September
• Columbus Day, 2nd Monday in October
• Veteran's Day, November 11
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day, December 25

Library equipment and materials are public property.  Each user or borrower is responsible for returning equipment and materials in good condition.

Jackson City Library is now fine free with the exception of lost/damaged items. The fees are as follows:

Library Card Replacement $2.00
Damaged or lost item list price plus $2.00
DVD/Audio Cases $2.00
Missing Barcodes/Labels $1.00
Missing cover $1.00

$0.25 per page.

Fax

Send $2.00 transaction + $0.25 per page
Receive $0.25 per page.

Microfilm reader

It is the general policy of the Jackson City Library to accept all gifts of books and other library related materials provided only that:

1.  Materials offered are clearly suitable for library use.

2.  No stipulation to the use or disposition of the donated materials is made.

3.  The staff of the library must have a free hand in disposal or refusal of duplicate titles, titles not needed, outdated materials of no sufficient reference or circulating value to the library, or titles in poor condition.

The Jackson City Library meeting room is available for public gatherings of a civic, cultural, or educational character, but is not for social gatherings, entertainments, dramatic productions, money-raising, or commercial purposes.

1.  Smoking is prohibited.

2.  No admission fee may be charged, nor may a collection be taken up.

3.  No alcoholic beverages are allowed.

4.  Each group using the meeting room is responsible for any damage incurred.
